Detroit, Mich. October 11, 2021 — Today GTB, a global performance marketing agency launches fourth annual “Impact Week,” an agency-wide initiative to give back to local communities around the world. This year’s Impact Week will be operated almost entirely online and span nine countries.

Over the last three years, our team members have donated more than 11,000 service hours in 22 cities across the globe to support 37 community organizations, many of which have become ongoing Impact Week partners.

This year’s Impact Week, from October 11–15, GTB will support global organizations focused on improving the health and wellness of local communities, fighting climate change, and helping local communities still affected by COVID-19.

“One of the defining characteristics of our culture is our kindness — our willingness to reach out and support people and communities in need. Acts of service not only help people who have been marginalized but can also help each of us,” said Kevin Karolak, Global Chief Marketing Officer, GTB, “Now in our fourth year and with many challenges over the last two years, we are still activating to make a difference.”

Impact Week partners include ongoing philanthropic relationships as well as new ones. Returning for a fourth year, GTB has partnered with several organizations in Detroit including Children’s Hospital of MI, who is dedicated to saving lives through the highest quality of care for children and adolescents; Greening of Detroit, a non-profit organization focused on enhancing the quality of life for Detroit residents by planting trees and providing vital education of the natural environment; and Children’s Center, an organization who is leading the way in working with children struggling with mental and behavioral health challenges or experiencing trauma.

Global outreach includes partnerships with Rotary Brazil, who is dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support peace efforts and end diseases; and Revera Living, a nursing home that helps older adults live life to the fullest in Toronto, Canada. Support for other community organizations in major U.S. cities includes New York Cares in New York City implemented by our sister agency Hudson Rouge and regional support includes GTB Mexico’s support of Women for Afghan Women, a grassroots civil society organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of disenfranchised Afghan women and girls in Afghanistan and New York.

GTB strives to make a positive impact in local communities around the globe.
